Cold Air Intake Kit

The CTS Turbo Intake Kit is a premium cold air intake system engineered for the R55, R56, and R57 Mini Cooper S models, specifically designed for vehicles with N14, N16, and N18 engines. It aims to replace the factory intake, which is known for its brittle plastic inlet pipe that can crack or break. The system features a CNC mandrel-bent aluminum intake pipe with a black powder coating, promoting smooth airflow into the engine. It incorporates a high-flow cone air filter utilizing an inverted cone design for maximum engine breathing. The kit also includes 4-ply silicon connectors and stainless steel clamps, along with a precision-fit high-flow airbox. A MAF delete adapter is included for MAF-less ROW cars, and a PCV hose adapter is provided (though not required for all vehicles). This intake system is designed to provide peak power gains ranging from 9-15 HP and offers an aggressive, race-inspired sound. It is compatible with Generation 2 vehicles including the R55 Clubman S (2008-2014), R56 Hatchback S (2007-2013), R57 Convertible S (2009-2015), R58 Coupe S (2012-2015), and R59 Roadster S (2012-2015). Important fitment notes apply: this kit WILL NOT fit certain 2013+ models with a molded PCV hose connection on the factory intake, and users should consult the installation guide before ordering. Additionally, on N18 engines, PCV heater connections must be removed, and resistors must be installed in the factory harness to avoid a P053A code; these resistors are included, but an optional plug-and-play solution is available separately.
