The Rtunes Racing cold air intake kit is engineered to enhance the performance of 1990-1992 Pontiac Firebirds equipped with 5.0L and 5.7L V8 engines, including Base, Formula, Trans AM, and Trans AM GTA models. This system promotes increased airflow by offering a less restrictive design compared to the factory airbox, which can lead to improved power output and a more responsive throttle across the rev range. Drivers can also expect a more aggressive and pronounced intake sound during acceleration. Constructed for durability, the kit features mandrel-bent, powder-coated piping and a high-flow, washable, and reusable air filter.
