Cold Air Intake Kit

The Roto-Fab cold air intake system is specifically designed for the 2016-2017 Chevrolet SS Sedan, aiming to increase horsepower and deliver an aggressive sound under acceleration while maintaining a stock-like tone during normal cruising. This system installs easily with basic tools and requires no permanent modifications to your vehicle. The design features an enclosed air box to isolate the filter from hot engine bay air. This enclosed design, coupled with a polymer heat shield that rests on the frame rail and extends to the core support and inner fender, helps maintain lower intake air temperatures. The air box includes an aluminum and polycarbonate lid that hinges for easy filter access and further isolation from heat. The intake ductwork begins with a velocity stack section, transitions to accommodate the OEM MAF sensor, and includes a silicone hump hose to absorb motor rock. The inlet elbow, featuring a molded-in brass bung for the PCV hose, connects to the throttle body via a silicone reducing coupler. The elbow has a black finish. This Roto-Fab cold air intake does NOT fit the Camaro SS. It utilizes a dry filter with a replacement part number of 1013-5004. The system is tune-free, meaning no ECU recalibration is required after installation. Please be aware that this product is not available for sale or use in California due to state regulations.
