The K&N 63-1579 cold air intake system is engineered to deliver a guaranteed increase in horsepower and torque by improving airflow to your engine. Its construction includes a durable, roto-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) tube paired with an oversized, conical, washable, and reusable High-Flow Air Filter made with oiled cotton filter media. This design allows for extended service intervals, with the filter only requiring cleaning every 100,000 miles under normal highway driving conditions. A custom heat shield is integrated into the design to protect the intake air from the high temperatures within the engine bay, ensuring cooler air enters the engine for optimal performance. The system is designed as a direct replacement for the factory air filter and intake tube, and typical installation can be completed in 90 minutes or less using basic hand tools. K&N backs this performance upgrade with a 10-Year/Million Mile Limited Warranty and states it will not void the vehicle's warranty. This K&N 63-1579 cold air intake system is specifically designed for the 2018-2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk 6.2L V8, and the 2021-2023 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat 6.2L HEMI. It is important to note that some K&N intakes may not be legal for sale or use on pollution-controlled motor vehicles in California; always check the product specifications for specific vehicle CARB status.
