Cold Air Intake System

This system provides your engine with easier access to cooler outside air, which is denser and richer in oxygen, leading to cleaner and more efficient fuel combustion. The result is increased horsepower, improved throttle response, and a better engine sound, as confirmed by dyno testing. The intake system features a specially designed, mandrel-bent aluminum inlet pipe with a durable gunmetal gray powder-coated finish. It relocates the oversized AEM Dryflow air filter to the passenger-side wheel well, further reducing intake air temperature and maximizing airflow. The Dryflow air filter is made from oil-free, synthetic media and can last up to 100,000 miles before needing cleaning, depending on driving conditions. The system includes all necessary hardware for straightforward installation and is backed by AEM's Lifetime Limited Warranty. It is confirmed to fit the 1999-2000 Honda Civic Si 1.6L L4 F/I models. Some AEM air intake systems may not be legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards; however, this particular system is 50-state legal.
