The AEM 21-430P Cold Air Intake System is engineered to boost your vehicle's performance by swapping out the restrictive stock air intake. Specifically designed for the 1995-1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse and 1995-1998 Eagle Talon, this system ensures a precise fit and optimal air delivery. The core of this intake's performance enhancement lies in its ability to allow for improved airflow, which translates to noticeable gains in horsepower and torque. It achieves this by lowering intake air temperatures through relocating the filter closer to the wheel well. The system utilizes an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter, which promotes excellent filtration while being maintenance-friendly, lasting up to 100,000 miles before requiring a wash. The intake tubing is constructed from durable, mandrel-bent aluminum with a polished finish for an enhanced engine bay aesthetic. Installation is simplified with included clamps and a Mass Air Flow sensor adapter when required. The filter does not require oil, making maintenance straightforward.
