The AF Dynamic Air Filter intake system is engineered to enhance the performance of your 2006-2011 Honda Civic Si with the 2.0L K20Z3 engine. This kit directly replaces the restrictive stock air intake box and filter, promoting a more efficient draw of colder air into the engine. Constructed with a durable black powder-coated aluminum pipe and heat shield, the system incorporates a reflective aluminum heat shield mat. This mat material is crucial for further reducing intake temperatures and minimizing heat soak from the engine bay, ensuring optimal performance. Installation is designed to be straightforward, typically requiring 30-45 minutes with basic hand tools and requiring no drilling, cutting, or fabrication. The package includes a high-flow, washable, and reusable air filter, all necessary hardware, and comprehensive installation instructions. However, professional installation is highly recommended. This intake system aims to increase horsepower by 5 to 10 HP and torque by 6 to 8 percent, while also potentially improving gas mileage.
