The BlackBoost Cold Air Intake System is a high-performance upgrade designed for Mercedes AMG M157 and M278 engines. It features laser-cut, high-strength aluminum airboxes with a black powder coat finish and stainless steel fasteners for durability. The system includes twin high-flow synthetic dry oval air filters for improved airflow and filtration.

Molded composite intake tubes incorporate 1/8th NPT ports for pre-turbo methanol injection, and oversized inlet ducts and couplers enhance airflow and heat resistance.

The BlackBoost Generation 2 Cold Air Intake System is engineered to significantly enhance the performance of compatible Mercedes-Benz AMG models. This system features precision laser-cut airboxes constructed from high-strength aluminum, assembled with durable stainless steel fasteners, and finished with a sleek black powder coating for longevity and aesthetic appeal. At the core of this upgrade are newly designed twin oval high-flow synthetic dry air filters, offering an expanded surface area for superior airflow and filtration, ensuring the engine receives cleaner, more abundant air. The intake also boasts advanced molded composite intake tubes, which include integrated 1/8th NPT ports, facilitating easy pre-turbo methanol injection for reduced intake temperatures and optimized airflow during high-performance driving. Installation is straightforward as it's a direct bolt-on upgrade requiring no additional modifications. The system is compatible with E63(S) AMG (W212/S212) M157 5.5L V8 BiTurbo (2013-2016), CLS63(S) AMG (C218/W218/X218) M157 5.5L V8 BiTurbo (2012-2018), E500 (W212/S212) M278 4.7L V8 BiTurbo (2013-2016), CLS 500 (C218/W218/X218) M278 4.7L V8 BiTurbo (2012-2018), E550 (W212/S212) M278 4.7L V8 BiTurbo (2013-2016), and CLS 550 (C218/W218/X218) M278 4.7L V8 BiTurbo (2012-2018). Although designed as a plug-and-play solution, professional installation is highly recommended. A tune may be required to prevent a "Check Engine Light" on occasion.
