This design provides the performance advantages of a cold air intake while mitigating the risk of water ingestion, a common concern with other CAI setups. The included filter element is pre-oiled, cleanable, and reusable, offering long-term value and convenience. This specific configuration is designed for the 2019-2021 Subaru WRX STI models equipped with the 2.5 Turbo EJ257 engine, as well as the 2018 Type RA. It is also noted as being 50-state legal with CARB Executive Order (EO) number D-660-77, ensuring compliance for emissions-controlled vehicles across the United States.
