Cold Air Intake System

The Flat 6 Motorsports Cold Air Intake System is designed to be a direct factory replacement for the facelifted 95B.2 and 95B.3 Porsche Macan models. Engineered with the aid of CFD analysis, this system optimizes intake airflow, leading to significant power increases. The design features open top ducts and a proprietary, bell-horn shaped filter media that maximizes surface area and efficiently distributes air around the filter for improved velocity and flow into the turbocharger. This integration with the factory airbox ensures a simple, "drop-in" installation with an OEM fit and finish, completable in 5-10 minutes. This intake system offers a significant flow rate enhancement, verified by dyno testing to provide +14.7 whp (+24.9 whp peak) on the Macan S and +6.6 whp (+13.4 whp peak) on the Macan GTS. It also provides a 1/4 mile verified improvement of 0.27 seconds and 2.2 mph higher trap speed, along with improved turbo and throttle response. Furthermore, it reduces Intake Air Temps (IATs) by 6.3% under full load. The nano-fiber dry media filtration is tested below 1 micron to ANSI/ASHRAE Standard and the filters are designed for a lifetime of use, with a cleaning recommendation every 15,000 miles for optimal performance. This intake system is specifically designed for the facelifted Macan (95B.2/95B.3), including the 2019+ Porsche Macan S, 2019+ Porsche Macan GTS, 2020+ Porsche Macan Turbo, and 2022 - Present Porsche Macan S/GTS models. It will not fit early model Macan S / GTS / Turbo models from 2015-2018. The carbon fiber version previously offered has been discontinued since 2020. The installation requires only basic hand tools, such as a T-25 torx bit and a flat-head screwdriver.
