Cold Air Intake System

This true cold air setup utilizes a 3-inch diameter tube and a high-flow velocity stack filter, feeding your engine the necessary airflow for optimal performance. It is designed to directly fit the 2002-2006 Acura RSX (without brake cooling ducts), 2002-2005 Honda Civic Si (EP3), and 2001-2005 K-swapped Civic models, with most RSX applications not requiring battery relocation. This intake system is developed around RBC and RRC intake manifold configurations and performs best with a 70mm or larger throttle body. Compared to typical short ram intakes, this setup has demonstrated power increases of 5-10 horsepower across the powerband, resulting in denser air, cleaner sensor readings, and more consistent power output. The kit includes a replacement radiator hose for clearance on most RSX and RSX K-swap configurations. Important fitment notes and requirements include the mandatory use of an RBC or RRC intake manifold and a 70mm or larger throttle body. Trimming of the left fender liner may be necessary for proper routing. Washer bottle removal or relocation is required. Modification to OEM Type R brake ducts and fog lights may also be necessary. The included radiator hose is designed for K20A/A2/A3/Z1 engines and may not fit K20Z3/K24 variants. For the 2002-2005 Honda Civic Si and 2001-2005 Honda Civic Non-Si (K-Swapped), battery relocation and modification to the lower bracket might be required. Modifications to fog lights may also be needed on these models.
