Cold Air Intake System

The Integrated Engineering IEINCI11-KT cold air intake system is engineered for performance on VW and Audi MQB EA888 Gen 3 1.8T and 2.0T engines. It replaces the factory plastic intake box and small piping with a 3.5-inch system and a 5-inch air filter, featuring a built-in velocity stack for smooth airflow transitions and minimal turbulence. This design has been flow bench tested, showing up to a 67% increase in airflow over stock at -5 in/H20. The system includes silicone couplers compatible with both stock and upgraded turbo inlets. Optional lid upgrades are available in polymer or carbon fiber for enhanced engine bay aesthetics. For harsh climates, an optional filter upgrade with a pre-filter sock provides superior filtration against contaminants. This intake system is 50-State CARB legal (EO Number D-838-1) and emissions compliant, allowing for worry-free testing. Important fitment notes: This intake does not fit Audi A3 engines equipped with a MAF sensor, commonly found in FWD models. VW Arteon models are not compatible with the optional carbon fiber lid without washer filler neck relocation, and also require the separately sold IE Turbo Inlet Pipe upgrade. Some European models may require modification to the heatshield to clear a front-mounted crash sensor.
