The Rough Country 10551-RC is a cold air intake system engineered to enhance the performance of 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 models equipped with 5.3L or 6.2L engines. The intake tube features a cylindrical design and large diameter, allowing for significantly better airflow compared to restrictive factory air filters enclosed in a box. By drawing cooler, denser air into the combustion chamber, it optimizes the air-to-fuel mixture for maximum power potential. Installation is described as easy and can be done quickly for an instant performance increase. The kit includes a heat shield, intake tube, a reusable air filter that is easy to clean for long-term performance, and all necessary clamps and hardware.
