As Injen Technology's premier traditional aluminum cold air intake, this system leverages the company's four patents in intake tuning, including MegaRam (MR) Technology and Air Fusion. The core of the system is a 6061-T6 aluminum air intake tube, meticulously designed to provide an uninterrupted, smooth path for air, promoting highly efficient airflow and noticeable performance enhancements. This intake system utilizes a fully serviceable Injen SuperNano-Web dry air filter, which boasts a larger surface area for greater airflow and superior filtration capabilities. The result is not only improved performance but also an aggressive and satisfying exhaust tone. The SP series is designed for direct fitment on the 2016-2022 Acura ILX L4-2.4L, offering a clean aesthetic that complements the engine bay. While this system provides significant performance benefits, it's important to note that it is not currently CARB exempt. Consequently, it cannot be shipped into California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, New Jersey, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington.
