Cold-Air Intake System 2.0 TFSI

The Racingline Intake System is a purpose-built cold-air intake upgrade for the Audi S3 8P Quattro, specifically designed for the 2.0 TFSI engine. Developed and proven on Racingline's own Volkswagen Racing cars, this intake system has undergone independent flow testing, demonstrating up to a 9% increase in airflow at peak power compared to the standard setup. In real-world conditions, this translates to improved throttle response, increased power and torque, and a potential reduction in turbo spool time by up to 500rpm, leading to sharper acceleration, particularly in the mid-range. At the core of the system is Racingline's Trifoam filter, a triple-layer, open-cell polyurethane foam laminate utilized in Formula One engines. It requires cleaning and re-oiling approximately every 20,000 miles under normal road use. The system provides a clear and purposeful induction sound under load without being intrusive at cruise, a result of its enclosed airbox design. It features a sealed cold-air feed to keep hot under-bonnet air away from the filter, maintaining near-ambient intake temperatures. While peak power gains on a stock vehicle are modest, the system's benefits are most pronounced when paired with a Stage 1 or Stage 2 tune, where the increased airflow can be fully utilized. The kit includes a large-diameter intake pipe, sealed airbox enclosure, Trifoam reusable air filter, and all necessary fittings, clamps, and fixings for installation. This intake is specifically designed for the Audi S3 8P Quattro fitted with the 2.0 TFSI engine. Fitment confirmed for A3 (8P1) S3 quattro models (BZC/CDLC and BHZ/CDLA engines) from 2006-2012, and A3 Sportback (8PA) S3 quattro models (CDLC and BHZ/CDLA engines) from 2008-2013.
