Cold Air Intake System

The Roto-Fab 2008-2009 Pontiac G8 V6 Air Intake system is engineered to deliver enhanced horsepower and an aggressive sound for your vehicle. This true cold air intake system is custom-molded to precisely fit the Pontiac G8 V6 models equipped with the LY7 engine. The design prioritizes maximizing performance and airflow. It incorporates a one-piece, fully enclosed air box that extends downward and outboard of the frame rail, crucial for shielding the filter from hot air generated by radiator fans. This design also allows for the largest possible filter size while ensuring proper alignment for the MAF sensor and the ductwork leading to the throttle body. The open-top design, coupled with a hood seal, facilitates maximum airflow to all areas of the filter while effectively blocking heat. This specific kit utilizes an oiled filter, which comes pre-oiled and ready for installation. The replacement oil filter is part number 1013-5003, and the filter requires 36 grams of oil when servicing. The elbow finish on this intake is black. Importantly, this product is not available for sale or use in California due to state regulations. Installation does not require a tune.
