Cold Air Intake System

The IE Cold Air Intake System for VW MK7 and Audi 8V 1.8T/2.0T (gen 3) is designed to maximize performance with features like 3.5" piping, a full-width heat shield, and a high-flow velocity stack. It utilizes a 5" air filter and smooth transition silicone couplers for optimal airflow, delivering up to 15WHP and 13 ft-lbs of torque. The system is flow-optimized for tuned engines and hybrid/big turbo setups, with flow bench testing showing up to a 67% increase over stock. Installation is straightforward, taking approximately one hour with basic hand tools, and the intake utilizes factory airbox mounts for a perfect fit. It includes silicone couplers for both stock and upgraded turbo inlets. This intake system is 50-state CARB legal (EO Number D-838-1), ensuring emissions compliance. However, there are specific fitment exclusions. This intake does not fit Audi A3 engines equipped with a MAF sensor, commonly found in FWD models. VW Arteon models are not compatible with the optional carbon fiber lid without relocating the washer filler neck, and also require the IE Turbo Inlet Pipe upgrade (sold separately). Additionally, some European models may require minor modification of the heat shield to clear a front-mounted crash sensor.
