Cold Air Intake System

The ZZP 3800 Cold Air Intake is engineered to provide improved airflow for 3800 Series II and III WBody engines. This kit includes an air box with a lid, an intake duct designed to rotate for various throttle body setups, a PCM tray, a 4-inch heat-shielded tube, and three hose clamps. It also features a ZZP 4-inch inlet 9-inch cone filter (ZZP filter model #1). For Series II engines, this intake fits 1998-2003 Grand Prix, 1997+ Regal/Intrigue, and 2000+ Monte Carlo/Impala models, with or without an intercooler. For Series III engines, it fits 2004+ Grand Prix. If running an intercooler or an LQ4 MAF sensor on a Series III, an additional version 2 throttle body turn down adapter may be required. Series III intakes utilize couplers instead of a separate intake tube. Installation requires specific considerations. If you have a 1997 model year vehicle, a coolant tank from a 1999 model year will be needed for proper fitment of the air box. For 1998 specific GTP/GS models, a 1999+ coolant bottle is necessary. This cold air intake does not fit HBody, Bonneville, Park Ave, or LaSabre models. Digital installation instructions are available.
