The Spelab SPIS08764 is a cold air intake system engineered to enhance engine performance by drawing in cooler, denser air. By placing the air filter outside the engine compartment, it ensures the coolest possible inlet temperatures. Cooler air contains more oxygen, leading to a more powerful combustion cycle and, consequently, increased horsepower and torque. The system further optimizes performance by tuning the inlet pipe's length and diameter to match the engine's resonance, effectively increasing the air volume delivered to the cylinders and maximizing power across the entire RPM range. Constructed from lightweight T-304 aluminum with a polished finish and a black powder-coated alloy intake pipe, this kit is built for durability and performance. This air intake kit is designed for specific Hemi V8 engines, fitting the 5.7L and 6.1L variants in the 2005-2008 Dodge Magnum R/T & SRT-8, 2006-2010 Dodge Charger R/T & SRT-8, 2008-2010 Dodge Challenger R/T & SRT-8, and 2005-2010 Chrysler 300 C Sedan & SRT-8 models. Installation is straightforward, requiring only simple tools, and no additional parts are needed as all necessary mounting accessories are included.
