Cold Air Intake System

The JLT Performance CAI-HC-15 is a cold air intake system engineered to enhance the performance of 2015-2020 Dodge Charger Hellcat and 2015-2018 Dodge Challenger Hellcat models. This system replaces the restrictive factory air box with a high-flow setup, aiming to deliver noticeable gains in power and performance while maintaining excellent filtration. This design helps to block engine heat and create a high-pressure environment around the filter, optimizing airflow. The intake tube itself is constructed from roto-molded plastic, measuring a substantial 125mm for superior airflow and to prevent the heat soak associated with metal tubes. Included with the kit are CNC-machined aluminum MAF and IAT adapter plates, ensuring compatibility with both 2015/16 (MAF sensor) and 2017-2020 (IAT sensor) Hellcat models. This cold air intake utilizes a custom-built, reusable S&B oiled air filter featuring a smooth bell mouth and deep pleats for increased surface area and optimal airflow. A new roto-molded plastic heat shield is included to minimize heat transfer at idle and low speeds. Additionally, custom water-jet cut Lexan rain shields bolt to the hood grille, directing cool air into the box while preventing rain from reaching the filter. The JLT CAI-HC-15 is designed for a direct bolt-on installation, typically completed in approximately 45 minutes, and does not require a computer re-tune. JLT estimates gains of 15-20 RWHP on stock Hellcats, with potential for 25-30+ RWHP on pulley and tuned Hellcats. However, it's important to note that this intake will not fit with the Redeye hood or 2019+ Challenger hoods without modification.
