It delivers cold, dense air from outside the engine bay directly to your engine through a large-diameter, free-flowing pipe. This system features a fully-enclosed black anodized aluminum housing that contains a high-flow, triple-layer cone filter, ensuring air is drawn only from external sources.

Developed from their racing applications, this system enhances turbo response by reducing spool time by up to 500rpm in some cases. The intake utilizes a ram-air style design, drawing cold air from the front of the vehicle, while its fully-enclosed filter housing prevents the ingestion of hot engine bay air. Construction involves a black anodized aluminum spinning that houses a high-flow, triple-layer TriFoam cone filter, which is handmade in the UK and is considered a top-tier filtration material. This setup not only boosts performance but also produces a noticeable induction sound under acceleration and a distinct diverter valve sound when lifting off the throttle. This intake system is specifically designed for higher-output 2.0 TFSI K04 engines found in vehicles such as the Volkswagen Golf R, Scirocco R, and Golf 5 GTI Ed30/Pirelli. Please be aware that this product is not for sale or use in the state of California on any pollution-controlled vehicle, as per the California Air Resources Board regulations.
