Cold Air Intake System

Chassis dyno tests from multiple reputable shops have indicated horsepower gains ranging from 20+ HP to over 30+ HP on stock cars without a tune. Even greater gains are possible when paired with a tune. The construction features a durable, powder-coated aluminum air box that is TIG-welded and custom-formed to precisely match the stock air inlet duct and hug the CTS-V's contours. This design maximizes air box volume and ensures a tight seal against the hood, creating an optimal cold air environment. The unique MAF sensor housing adapter accommodates a large filter and includes a velocity stack-type entry. A silicone hump hose is integrated to absorb engine rock, while the inlet elbow is custom molded with a taper to boost air velocity. Stainless steel clamps and screws are used throughout for durability. This kit includes a pre-oiled air filter (part number 1013-5013) that requires 89 grams of oil when serviced.
