The Roto-fab 1016-1051 is a cold air intake system engineered for the 2016-2024 Camaro SS, designed to improve airflow and enhance the aggressive intake sound of the vehicle. This specific kit includes a sound tube delete elbow and a dry filter, offering a cleaner aesthetic under the hood by eliminating the sound tube provision and providing a block-off plate for the firewall entry. The system is built with premium components such as high-gloss silicone hose couplers, stainless steel hose clamps and fasteners, and utilizes molded-in inserts for mounting the air box and MAF sensor. The air box and duct work are custom-molded to optimize airflow and ensure a perfect fit within the engine bay, while also creating an effective barrier against engine heat. It is constructed with a smooth inlet elbow and a large dry filter, which is part number 1013-5014 for replacement. The air box features a black anodized finish with a laser-etched Roto-fab logo, and a red Roto-fab vinyl graphic is included for users who wish to apply it to match red engine cover lettering.
