The Roto-Fab cold air intake system (10161001) is specifically designed to enhance the performance and sound of your 2008-2009 Pontiac G8 GT and GXP models. Its design extends downward and outboard of the frame rail, crucial for isolating the filter from hot air generated by the radiator fans. The open-top design, combined with a hood seal, allows for maximum airflow to the filter while actively blocking harmful engine and radiator heat, contributing to improved performance and an aggressive engine sound. Key specifications include an oiled filter type, which comes pre-oiled and ready for installation. The filter requires 52 grams of oil when serviced, and the specific replacement filter part number is 1013-5002. The elbow finish is black. An important product warning states that this product is not available for sale or use in California due to Proposition 65 regulations concerning cancer and reproductive harm.
