Cold Air Intake System

The Roto-Fab 1016-1046 cold air intake system is specifically designed for the 2016-2017 Chevrolet SS Sedan, aiming to boost horsepower and deliver an aggressive exhaust note during acceleration. It features an enclosed air box design, crucial for isolating the filter from engine compartment heat, a common challenge for this vehicle. A polymer heat shield further aids in this isolation by mating to the air box and extending along frame rails. Access to the oiled filter is provided through an aluminum and polycarbonate lid that hinges from the rear. The system includes a velocity stack duct section, a silicone hump hose, an inlet elbow with a PCV bung, and a reducing coupler to connect to the throttle body. Dyno testing has shown an increase of 11 RWHP over the stock system. The filter type is oiled, and the replacement filter part number is 1013-5002. The elbow finish is black plastic with a texture black filter lid finish. It is crucial to note that this product is specifically for the 2016-2017 Chevrolet SS Sedan and does NOT fit the Camaro SS. Furthermore, this product is not available for sale, use, or distribution in California due to state regulations.
