Cold Air Intake System for MQB EA888 Gen 3

The IE Engineer IEINCI11 is a cold air intake system engineered for MQB EA888 Gen 3 engines in various Audi and VW models. It boasts 3.5-inch intake piping and a large 5-inch air filter, designed to maximize airflow and power. The intake system features smooth 3-ply silicone couplers and utilizes factory airbox mounts for a precise, hassle-free installation. This intake is flow-optimized for tuned engines and hybrid or big turbo setups, promising significant performance enhancements. It includes a velocity stack with a motorsport-inspired bellmouth shape for efficient airflow channeling and minimal turbulence. The system also incorporates a robust aluminum alloy heat shield that directs high-pressure air from the front grill to the filter, providing superior heat resistance. Installation is estimated to take around 1 hour using basic hand tools, with the system designed to fit like a factory-installed unit. The IEINCI11 is CARB certified (EO Number D-838-1) and emissions compliant for all 50 states. Optional lid upgrades are available in polymer or carbon fiber. Fitment details: This intake does not fit Audi A3 engines equipped with a MAF sensor, which are commonly found in FWD models. VW Arteon models are not compatible with the optional carbon fiber lid without washer filler neck relocation and require the IE Turbo Inlet Pipe upgrade (sold separately). Some European models may require modification of the heat shield to accommodate a front-mounted crash sensor.
