The BlackBoost USA Cold Air Intake System Gen 2 is engineered to significantly upgrade your Mercedes AMG's power, efficiency, and aesthetics. This system features a completely new design with a custom engine cover for a refined look, and it is crafted from high-strength, laser-cut aluminum airboxes assembled with stainless steel fasteners and finished with a durable black powder coating. Performance is enhanced through twin, newly designed oval high-flow synthetic dry air filters that offer expanded surface area for superior airflow and filtration. The intake also incorporates molded composite tubes with integrated 1/8th NPT ports, allowing for easy pre-turbo methanol injection for reduced intake temperatures and optimized airflow. Oversized inlet ducts and heat-resistant couplers further contribute to improved engine oxygenation and power potential, supporting builds up to 1000+ WHP. Installation is designed as a direct bolt-on process, requiring no ECU tuning or additional modifications. The system seamlessly integrates with other performance components and is stated to not trigger a check engine light. It is compatible with various Mercedes-Benz models including the E63(S) AMG (W212/S212) M157 5.5L V8 BiTurbo (2013–2016), CLS63(S) AMG (C218/W218/X218) M157 5.5L V8 BiTurbo (2012–2018), and several M278 engine variants like the E500, CLS 500, E550, and CLS 550 within specified year ranges.
