The JLT Performance cold air intake is a performance-focused induction system designed specifically for the 2015-2017 Ford Mustang GT 5.0L. By replacing the restrictive stock components with a 5-inch intake tube and a high-flow dry filter, this kit improves airflow, resulting in a documented increase in rear wheel horsepower. It features a 4.5-inch opening at the throttle body, allowing for seamless integration with larger aftermarket throttle bodies as future engine upgrades are pursued. Installation of this kit is straightforward, but it carries a strict requirement: a JLT-specific tune is mandatory for safe and effective operation. Failure to install a proper tune can lead to significant engine damage. This product is not CARB approved and is strictly unavailable for sale or use in California or any other states that mandate a CARB EO number. Designed with a focus on performance, the dry filter provides high-efficiency filtration while eliminating the need for oiling, simplifying long-term maintenance. This kit is intended for 2015-2017 5.0L Mustang GT models and should not be driven until the vehicle's ECU has been updated with the required calibration.
