Description

The Cometic Gasket C5889-120 is a Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) engine head gasket designed for GM LS7 Gen-4 Small Block V8 engines. It features a 0.120-inch thickness and a 4.150-inch bore size, providing optimal sealing for high-output applications.

Constructed from multiple layers of stainless steel, this gasket offers enhanced strength, durability, and corrosion resistance. The outer layers are coated with Viton, an elastomer rubber that provides heat resistance up to 482°F, making it suitable for demanding operating conditions. The multi-layer design allows the gasket to rebound and effectively withstand the shearing forces common in engine blocks.
