Description

The Cometic Gasket C4499-060 is a Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket designed for Volvo B23 and B230 series engines from 1978-1998. This gasket features a compressed operating thickness of 0.060 inches and a 97mm bore.

Constructed with multiple embossed layers of stainless steel, the outer layers are coated with a heat-resistant Viton rubber. Cometic MLS head gaskets provide maximum sealing performance for high-output engines and do not require sealants. They are suitable for applications involving aluminum heads and blocks, or aluminum heads with cast iron blocks, and offer increased strength, rebound, and corrosion resistance.
