Description

The Cometic Gasket C4293-140 is a Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket designed for BMW M10B18/M10B20 1766/1990cc SOHC 8v 4-cylinder engines from 1972-1988. It features multiple embossed layers of stainless steel with a Viton rubber coating, providing maximum sealing performance for high-output engines.

This gasket has a compressed operating thickness of 0.140 inches and a 90mm bore. It is ideal for both aluminum to aluminum and aluminum to cast iron block applications, resisting the shearing forces between different materials.
