Description

The Cometic MLS head gasket is constructed from three to five layers of stainless steel for increased strength, rebound, and corrosion resistance. Its outer layers are embossed and coated with Viton rubber, capable of withstanding temperatures up to 482°F (250°C). This gasket is designed to fit BMW M50B20 and M50B20TU engines with an 82mm bore and a thickness of .080 inches. Proper engine components are crucial for smooth operation, and head gaskets play a vital role in preventing the mixing of gasses and oils with the cooling system, which can lead to severe engine damage.
