The Cometic C5427-047 is an intake manifold gasket set designed for Chevrolet Gen-1 Small Block V8 engines. It features AFM material, which is a chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core. This material offers temperature resistance over 250°F and 85 percent recovery with strong torque retention.
