Description

The Cometic C5403-086 is a Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket designed for high-output engines. It features multiple embossed layers of stainless steel with Viton rubber coating on the outer layers for heat resistance up to 482°F (250°C).

This gasket has a compressed thickness of 0.086 inches and is suitable for Brodix 12-23 Degree Heads. It is ideal for applications using aluminum heads with either aluminum or cast iron blocks, as it can withstand the shearing forces between dissimilar materials.
