Description

The Cometic C5467-140 is a Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket designed for Chrysler 5.7L Gen-3 Hemi engines. It features three to five layers of stainless steel for increased strength, rebound, and corrosion resistance. The outer layers are coated with Viton rubber, which is heat resistant up to 482°F (250°C), to handle demanding sealing environments and surface finishes. This gasket prevents the mixture of gasses and oils with the cooling system, which is crucial for preventing engine damage.
