The Cometic C4548-045 is a Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket designed for Chrysler ED1/EDV/EDZ engines. It features a bore size of 87.5mm and a compressed operating thickness of 0.036 inches. The gasket is constructed with multiple embossed layers of stainless steel, with the outer layers coated in Viton rubber for enhanced sealing performance. It is ideal for both aluminum-to-aluminum and aluminum-to-cast iron block applications, offering increased strength and resistance to corrosion.
