The Cometic C5447-045 is a Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket designed for Gen-2 Hemi Chrysler engines. It features a compressed operating thickness of 0.045 inches and a bore size of 4.500 inches. The gasket is constructed with multiple layers of stainless steel for increased strength and resistance to corrosion. The outer layers are coated with Viton rubber, which is heat-resistant up to 250°C (482°F), ensuring maximum sealing performance for high-output engines.
