AFM is a chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core with temperature resistance of over 250 degreesF. AFM material has an 85 percent recovery while maintaining strong torque retention. AFM does not require gasket sealers or re-torque.

The Cometic C5625-125 is a fiber intake manifold gasket set designed for Chrysler LA V8 engines. It features a .125-inch compressed thickness and is constructed from AFM material, a chemically blown nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core. This material offers a temperature resistance of over 250°F and 85 percent recovery with strong torque retention.

This gasket set does not require gasket sealers or re-torquing after installation. It is a direct fit for a wide range of Chrysler, Dodge, and Plymouth vehicles from the 1960s through the 1990s with LA V8 engines.
