The Cometic C5757-040 is an engine gasket designed for Ford 302/351W Windsor V8 engines. It features a Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction with a Viton rubber coating on the outer layers and has a compressed operating thickness of 0.040 inches with a bore size of 4.200 inches.

These MLS head gaskets offer maximum sealing performance for high-output engines and do not require sealants. They are suitable for both aluminum-to-aluminum and aluminum-to-cast iron block configurations, providing increased strength, rebound ability, and corrosion resistance.
