Description

The Cometic C5481-066 is a Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket designed for Ford 302/351W Windsor V8 engines. It features a compressed operating thickness of 0.066 inches and is constructed with multiple layers of stainless steel for increased strength and resistance to corrosion.

The outer layers of the gasket are coated with Viton rubber, a heat-resistant material capable of withstanding temperatures up to 250°C (482°F). The center layer is uncoated stainless steel. This construction provides maximum sealing performance for high-output engines and does not require sealants.
