The Cometic C5857-051 is a Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket designed for Ford 4.6L Modular V8 engines with DOHC and Darton Solid Sleeves. This gasket features a bore size of 95.25mm and a compressed thickness of .051 inches, with three layers for durability.

Cometic MLS head gaskets offer maximum sealing performance for high-output engines and do not require additional sealants. They are suitable for both aluminum-to-aluminum and aluminum-to-cast-iron block configurations.
