The Cometic C5450-040 is a Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket designed for high-output engines. It features outer layers with a Viton rubber coating and a compressed operating thickness of 0.040". This gasket is ideal for applications involving aluminum heads to aluminum blocks and aluminum heads to cast iron blocks, offering maximum sealing performance without the need for sealants. All Cometic products are manufactured in the United States.
