Description

The Cometic C5936-027 is an engine cylinder head gasket designed for GM LSX Small Block engines. It features a multi-layer stainless steel construction with Viton rubber coating on the outer layers. This gasket has a compressed operating thickness of 0.098 inches and a bore size of 4.185 inches. It is specifically designed for the driver's side cylinder head on LSX blocks with 6-bolt cylinder heads.

Cometic MLS head gaskets offer maximum sealing performance for high-output engines and do not require sealants. They are suitable for applications involving aluminum heads to aluminum blocks, as well as aluminum heads to cast iron blocks, due to their ability to withstand shearing forces and resist corrosion.
