The Cometic GM LSX Gen-4 Small Block V8 cylinder head gasket is a Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) gasket designed for high-output engines. It features multiple embossed layers of stainless steel with an outer coating of Viton rubber. The compressed operating thickness is 0.098 inches, and it has a 4.185-inch bore. This gasket is suitable for both aluminum-to-aluminum and aluminum-to-cast iron block applications, and it does not require sealants.
