The Cometic C5634-066 is a Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket designed for GM and Mercury Marine Big Block V8 Gen-IV, V, and VI engines. It features a compressed operating thickness of 0.098 inches and a bore diameter of 4.500 inches. The gasket is constructed from multiple embossed layers of stainless steel, with the outer layers coated in Viton rubber for enhanced sealing performance.

MLS gaskets offer maximum sealing for high-output engines and do not require sealants. They are suitable for applications with aluminum or cast iron blocks and aluminum heads, effectively withstanding shearing forces and resisting corrosion. The Viton coating provides heat resistance up to 250°C (482°F).
