The Cometic C9205-030 is a Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket designed for a 3-inch bore and a thickness of 0.030 inches. It features top and bottom layers of stainless spring steel covered by high-temperature rubber, with an inner ring also made of stainless steel. These three-layer gaskets are riveted together outside the gasket surface for easier installation and eliminate the need for dowel pin O-rings.
