Description

The Cometic C4188-140 is an MLS head gasket designed for high-output engines. It features multiple embossed layers of stainless steel with outer layers coated in Viton rubber for superior sealing performance without the need for sealants.

This gasket is ideal for applications with aluminum heads to aluminum blocks or aluminum heads to cast iron blocks, effectively withstanding shearing forces. Its multi-layer steel construction offers increased strength, reboundability, and corrosion resistance. The Viton coating on the outer layers is heat-resistant up to 250 C (482 F), making it suitable for demanding sealing environments.
