Description

The Cometic MLS gasket is a cylinder head gasket constructed from three to five layers of stainless steel. This material is used for increased strength, rebound, and corrosion resistance. The outer layers are embossed and coated with Viton rubber, which is heat resistant up to 250°C (482°F). Head gaskets are crucial components that sit between the engine block and cylinder head, preventing the mixing of gasses and oils with the cooling system.
