The Cometic MLS cylinder head gasket is constructed from multiple layers of stainless steel for strength and superior sealing. It features outer layers with a Viton rubber coating for enhanced heat resistance up to 482°F. This gasket has a compressed thickness of 0.045 inches and an 88mm bore diameter, designed for high-output engines. It is ideal for applications involving aluminum heads paired with either aluminum or cast iron blocks, and it requires no sealants.
