Description

The Cometic MLS head gasket is constructed from three or more stainless steel layers for increased strength and corrosion resistance. The outer layers are coated with a Viton rubber-based material that is heat resistant up to 482°F. The center layer is an uncoated stainless steel shim layer that can be varied in thickness. This MLS gasket is suitable for applications with aluminum heads to cast iron blocks or aluminum heads to aluminum blocks.
